The six-month Euribor rate, which is the most used in Portugal for variable rate mortgages, rose and was set at 2.946%. This rate thus reached a new high since October 2024.
Over a 12-month period, the Euribor rate also advanced again, being set at 3.326%. This value represents a new high since August 2024.
Both indicators continue the growth trend that has been verified in recent months, directly affecting borrowers with mortgages indexed to the Euribor.
