The Entity for Transparency (EpT) publicly acknowledged that it was unable to complete the verification of all single declarations of interests and income of the current Government. This admission comes in a written response dated 28 August, sent by the entity responsible for overseeing these declarations.
According to the response, there are pending processes awaiting decisions from the Constitutional Court on what type of information should be declared. This legal uncertainty has prevented the full completion of the verifications.
The EpT is the body responsible for overseeing the single declaration of income, assets, and interests of political office holders, including members of the Government.
The questions that prompted this response were posed by the Left Block, a party that has been pressing for greater transparency in the Executive's actions.
