In July 2026, Brazilian airports recorded significant movement, totaling 7.7 million passengers and 23.8 thousand tons of cargo and mail. This result represents a growth of 2.0% in the number of passengers and 4.4% in cargo and mail movement compared to the same period of the previous year. In the previous month, these indices had shown a slight decline of 0.2% and a growth of 3.4%, respectively.
In the analyzed month, the average disembarkation was 128.5 thousand passengers per day, representing an increase of 2.0% compared to July 2025. Year-to-date, between January and July 2026, growth was 2.4% in total passengers and 1.0% in cargo and mail movement, contrasting with the stronger increases recorded in the same period of 2025, which were 4.9% and 2.6%.
The United Kingdom stood out as the main country of origin and destination for passenger flights in the period, followed by France, Spain, Germany, and Italy, which maintained their positions among the top five countries. The data was released by the National Statistics Institute.
