During the week of September 7 to 13, the Territorial Command of Viseu of the National Republican Guard conducted enforcement operations that resulted in the detection of 289 more traffic infractions compared to the previous period.
During that week, 19 people were detained by the Territorial Command of Viseu of the GNR. Twelve of these detentions were for driving under the influence of alcohol, three for resistance and coercion, two for driving without a legal license, one for possession of weapons and another for drug trafficking.
The enforcement operations conducted by the GNR of Viseu aimed at compliance with traffic rules and the prevention of crime in the region, resulting in a high number of infractions detected and detentions made.
The Territorial Command of Viseu continues to develop surveillance and control actions on the roads of the region, seeking to guarantee road safety and the prevention of criminality.
