The Church of Nossa Senhora das Salas, in Sines, was requalified and reopened to the public, becoming the first heritage intervention supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) to be completed in the Alentejo region.
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Margarida Balseiro Lopes, was present on Monday to highlight the completion of this requalification work.
The project represents a milestone in the valorization of the region's cultural heritage, with European funding through the PRR.
The reopening of the church now allows visitors access to a property with renewed historical and religious value.
