A Russian drone hit the locomotive of a passenger train on the Kyiv-Warsaw line, two kilometres from the border with Poland. The attack caused no casualties, according to the authorities of both countries.
The incident occurred at a railway station in Ukraine, a short distance from Polish territory. Poland is a member country of NATO and the European Union, which gives international relevance to the event.
Ukrainian and Polish authorities confirmed the attack and its effects, without reporting any injuries or deaths resulting from the drone impact on the railway composition.
