FLEX satellite in orbit: studies plant response to climate change

The FLEX satellite was placed in orbit with the aim of studying photosynthesis and how vegetation responds to climate change. This mission represents a significant advancement in understanding the biological processes of plants on a global scale.

The FLEX mission will analyze in detail the response mechanisms of plants to environmental changes, collecting data on photosynthetic activity in different ecosystems around the planet.

In parallel, the new Sentinel-3C satellite was also launched to monitor oceans, soils, ice and atmosphere, thus complementing the Earth observation capabilities of the FLEX mission.
