Applications are open until October 14, 2026, for the 2027 Exchange Program, an initiative of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) aimed at Judicial Officers. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the EJTN electronic platform, by 5:00 PM, Portugal Continental and the autonomous region of Madeira time.
The program includes various exchange modalities, including general exchanges, specialized exchanges, exchanges for court administrators, and project-based exchanges, the latter focused on the exchange of good practices on relevant European legal topics. To formalize the application, interested parties must submit a project, a hosting agreement from the host entity, and an agenda proposal.
The selection of participants will be based on institutional preference criteria, with priority given to candidates who have not yet participated in EJTN initiatives or who have a limited history of previous participation.
