Pavlo Sadokha, long-standing president of the Association of Ukrainians in Portugal, has died. News of his passing was mourned by the Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal and the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), which issued statements of condolence.
Pavlo Sadokha was 56 years old and died on Sunday. His work leading the Association of Ukrainians in Portugal spanned many years, having dedicated much of his life to the Ukrainian community in Portuguese territory.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal and the Ukrainian World Congress publicly expressed their grief over the loss of Sadokha, acknowledging his role in representing and supporting the Ukrainian community residing in Portugal.
