Over the seven days of Rock in Rio, Ação da Cidadania raised approximately R$ 870 thousand in donations through its booth at the City of Rock. More than 16 thousand people passed through the space, with an average of 2.3 thousand visitors per day during the event.
The mobilization also distributed hundreds of books to those who donated starting at R$ 50, encouraging public participation. Daniel Souza, president of the Ação da Cidadania Board, highlighted that the partnership completes 25 years and represents the union between purpose and social mobilization.
The festival received 700 thousand people over the seven days, with 49% of visitors coming from outside Rio de Janeiro and fans from 89 countries participating. During the event, 40 tons of waste were collected per day, of which 80% were potentially recyclable.
