The Portuguese Government announced that it will attribute to the Abrantes Technological Free Zone (ZLT) part of the electrical capacity available at Pego. This decision was revealed by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Maria da Graça Carvalho, to the Lus news agency.
The government official explained that it was decided that part of the grid connection capacity will be destined for the Abrantes Technological Free Zone.
In addition to the attribution of electrical capacity, the Executive will also delegate the operational management of this infrastructure to Tagusvalley, the entity responsible for the administration of the ZLT.
This measure comes within the scope of the development of the Abrantes Technological Free Zone, which aims to boost innovation and technology in that region of Ribatejo.
