Health professionals issued an ultimatum to the Government that ends today, starting a period of labor contestation in the sector. The union STSS - Union of Higher Health Technicians - announced a calendar of actions that include manifestations already during September and October.
The main planned mobilization is a strike associated with a large national demonstration, scheduled for the week of October 5th. This action represents the highest point of contestation to date.
If the impasse with the Government continues and there is no negotiation or satisfactory response, STSS admits extending the contestation during November, prolonging the labor conflict in the health sector.
