Instituto Cyrela mobilizes over 500 volunteers for the 15th VAD

oglobo14 September 2026 at 22:13

Instituto Cyrela holds in 2026 the 15th edition of Volunteer Action Day (VAD), the organization's main volunteering initiative that puts into practice "Do Good," one of the pillars of Grupo Cyrela's culture. This year's edition mobilizes over 500 volunteers, including employees, guests, and members of partner companies, in actions carried out in the cities of São Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and São Luís (MA).

The mobilization has exceeded the company's boundaries over 15 years of existence and now also involves its network of partners. Among the companies participating in this edition are Agrotexas, BTX Geologia e Meio Ambiente, Lavrasul, and TS TECK Equipamentos, which bring to the social field relationships built in the business environment and contribute to expanding the reach of volunteering.

Founded in 2011, Instituto Cyrela was created to structure Grupo Cyrela's social investments, preserving the essence of "Do Good" and being responsible for the Group's social responsibility policy.

Why this matters

The region is impacted by the mobilization of over 500 volunteers across three states, demonstrating how large companies can expand their social reach by engaging business partners in volunteer actions. The 15-year event shows the consolidation of this practice as part of corporate culture, benefiting local communities with concrete social responsibility actions.
