Julia Stockler plays the character Suely in "Quem ama cuida," a soap opera on Rede Globo. The character is a secretary who suffers moral harassment from Ademir, played by Dan Stulbach, and decides to report him. The plot shows Suely's courage in exposing the toxic relationship she faced, which she herself characterized as "a dating that wasn't okay."
In the story, Ademir will be tried for the harassment committed against Suely and chooses to represent himself. After being convicted, he is unhappy with the verdict and goes after Pedro, played by Chay Suede, the lawyer who handled Suely's case.
Suely becomes an ally of Adriana, character played by Letícia Colin, in her revenge plans. The lead character gave Suely unconditional support so that she would have the courage to file the complaint, creating paths for her to feel comfortable exposing what she went through.
The audience can expect justice and relief in the plot. The collaboration between the two characters shows that alone, Suely might not have been able to report the abuse, but with a friend by her side, she found the strength to go through the entire process.
