Daniella Marques, former president of Caixa Econômica Federal and economic coordinator of Flavio Bolsonaro's (PL) campaign, announced during a seminar by Grupo Esfera, at Casa Fasano, in São Paulo, that an eventual government of the PL candidate intends to revoke all taxes created or increased during the management of former Finance Minister Fernando Haddad. According to her, the team received direct guidance from Bolsonaro to work on reversing these tax measures adopted in the current government.
In addition to revoking taxes, Daniella Marques stated that the Bolsonaro administration plans to remove more than a thousand norms considered "excessive or bureaucratic." According to her, these measures are being prepared by the campaign team and are part of a set of proposals to simplify the lives of businesses and citizens.
The former president of Caixa was presented as a prominent figure in Bolsonaro's campaign, being considered the "right-hand man" of former minister Paulo Guedes. Daniella gained strength to take on a central role in the future government, being compared to a "Posto Ipiranga" — a reference to an economic management that would be capable of meeting all demands from the market and society.
