The captain of the Brazilian women's volleyball national team, Gabi Guimarães, assembled her own multidisciplinary team to follow all her preparation ahead of the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028. The team includes professionals from different areas, from physical preparation to mental support, in an individualized work focused on excellence.
Brazil secured a spot in the next edition of the Olympic Games after winning the South American title last Sunday. In this tournament, Gabi was elected MVP (most valuable player) of the competition, demonstrating her importance for the national team.
At 32 years old, Gabi recognizes that Los Angeles may be her last chance to pursue the unprecedented gold medal in her career. The player already has in her career a silver from Tokyo-2020 and a bronze from Paris-2024.
After the South American title, Gabi commented that she would have liked to have had this structure before, when she was younger. According to her, the advancement of age makes it even more important to have professionals with a closer view accompanying her career in an individualized manner.
