As of this Monday, September 14, Anac Resolution 800 came into effect, the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil. This resolution establishes new rules for passengers who cause disturbances on board aircraft.
According to the new resolution, passengers who create disturbances on flights may face fines of up to 3 thousand euros. In addition to the financial penalty, offenders will be included on a shared list among airlines.
This list shared between aviation companies means that registered passengers are prevented from boarding Brazilian domestic flights for a period that can reach one year.
The measure aims to combat the increase in incidents on board and ensure more safety and tranquility during air travel in Brazil, establishing more rigorous consequences for inappropriate behavior.
