The prefecture of Teresina is preparing a bid worth R$ 132 million for the acquisition of 100 buses for the city's public transportation system.
Of this total, 51 vehicles will be of smaller capacity. Another four buses will be conventional, similar to those already operating in the capital of Piauí.
The remaining 45 buses will have higher passenger capacity, able to accommodate a greater number of collective transportation users.
The investment is part of the municipal management's plans to renew and expand the city's bus fleet.
