The District Delegation of Castelo Branco of ANAFRE – National Association of Parishes – promotes on Saturday, September 19, at the Casa da Cultura in Sertã, the meeting entitled "The Parishes — what future?". The event is dedicated to reflection and debate about the present and future of Portuguese parishes.
The meeting features the participation of representatives from the parishes of the district of Castelo Branco, bringing together local officials and responsible parties to discuss relevant issues related to the administration and territorial organization at the parish level.
The initiative arises in a context of transformations affecting parishes in Portugal, proposing itself as an open space for dialogue about the challenges these entities face and the perspectives for their future development. The event takes place during the day at the Casa da Cultura in Sertã, a space that hosts this reflection about the role of parishes in the national administrative landscape.
