The Quaest survey lights up all warning signs for the PT campaign. President Lula loses to Bolsonaro in the poll, which already represents a negative signal for the party.
The president also loses voting intention among various specific demographics. Among Black voters, Lula drops from 47% to 43%, and also registers a decline among brown/mixed-race voters and voters earning up to two minimum wages.
Among non-Lula left-wing demographics, Lula shows a decline from 74% to 69%. This data indicates that the president cannot maintain solid support even among sectors that are traditionally his allies.
Among women, Lula remains stable in the first round, but shows a decline from 45% to 41% when comparing the two most recent polls.
