Federal Highway Police (PRF) agents seized 396 bottles of lança-perfume that were being transported in the luggage of a passenger on a bus stopped at a checkpoint on the BR-040 Highway, in Petrópolis, in the Mountainous Region of Rio, in the early hours of this Monday. The operation was carried out by teams from the Tactical Patrol Group (GPT/04) and the K-9 Operations Group (GOC), as part of Operation Divisas.
The bus was traveling the Rio x Belo Horizonte (MG) route and was stopped around 1:30 AM. During the checkpoint, the police found a revolver and six pieces of ammunition in the suspect's hand luggage. After locating the weapon and ammunition, the teams identified a ticket corresponding to a bag that was in the external compartment of the vehicle, where the bottles of lança-perfume were found.
