Three athletes from the Recreational Society of Santa Susana and Pobral (SRSSP) were part of the National Team at the 2026 European Artistic Roller Skating Solo Dance Championship, held in Ponte di Legno, Italy. The three athletes, all from the Parish of São João das Lampas, finished among the top ten classified in their respective categories.

Francisco Gonçalves achieved the bronze medal, thus securing a place on the European competition podium. In addition, Bárbara Faneco finished in 6th place and Maria Inês Gonçalves in 9th place in their categories.

With these results, the SRSSP athletes secured three positions in the European Top 10, contributing significantly to the performance of the National Solo Dance Team at the championship held in Italy.

Why this matters
