The new round of the Quaest survey, released this Monday, shows that fear of continuity of the Lula government (PT) has returned to numerically surpass concern over a return of the Bolsonaro family to power. According to the poll, 44% of Brazilians point to the permanence of the current government as their greatest concern, while 42% indicate the return of the political group of former President Jair Bolsonaro as their main fear.
The two-percentage-point difference between the two scenarios is within the survey's margin of error, which is two points plus or minus. This means the two scenarios remain technically tied. Another 7% of respondents said they fear both possibilities.
Among those interviewed, 2% stated they are not afraid of either scenario, while 5% did not know how to answer or preferred not to give an opinion. The Quaest survey is conducted periodically to track the evolution of voting intentions and perceptions of Brazilian voters regarding the presidential race.
