The Quaest poll, commissioned by TV Globo and the newspaper O GLOBO and released this Monday, shows changes in voting intentions for presidential candidates, three weeks before the first round of elections. While Augusto Cury (Avante) and Romeu Zema (Novo) recorded declines, the numbers for Renan Santos (Missão) and Ronaldo Caiado (União Brasil) rose.
Augusto Cury, who had jumped from 2% to 10% in early September, had already fallen to 8% in the previous poll, published on September 7, and has now retreated again, reaching 7%. Even so, the writer remains in third place among the best-positioned presidential candidates.
Renan Santos, who remained in fourth place, had remained stable at 3%, but has now risen to 4%. Ronaldo Caiado, who had already recorded gains in the last poll, had his voting intentions raised again, also reaching 4%. As for Romeu Zema, who had risen from 1% to 2% in the previous poll, retreated again after the crises that affected Lula and Flavio.
