Ibrahimovic returned to an AC Milan training session about six months after his last session with the team. The Swedish striker, who had already announced his retirement as a player, reportedly arrived at the 'rossoneri' training center with focus on the next Champions League opponent.
The consultant from the company that owns AC Milan was present at the training session. The company Gestiune, belonging to the American fund Investcorp, is the owner of the Italian club.
The training was conducted by coach Ruben Amorim, the Portuguese manager who coaches Sporting, the club that faces AC Milan in the next round of the Champions. Amorim reportedly conducted the session unusually, possibly to prepare the team for the confrontation with the 'lions'.
Ibrahimovic's return comes at a time when AC Milan is preparing to face Sporting de Portugal, in a match that marks the meeting between the Italian club and the current leader of the Portuguese championship.
