The State Center for Natural Disaster Monitoring and Alert of Rio de Janeiro (Cemaden-RJ) issued an alert this Monday morning for risk of locally heavy rain in the state. The meteorological forecast indicates that the minimum temperature recorded was 9.7 degrees in Petrópolis, in the Mountainous Region, while the maximum expected can reach 26 degrees in the North and Northwest regions. Moderate intensity winds are also forecast.
Currently, there are records of moderate rain in the South Region, the capital, and the Fluminense Lowlands. In the other regions of the state, there is light to occasionally moderate rain, with overcast skies in all areas.
The hydrological risk remains moderate for the Fluminense Lowlands, the capital, the Metropolitan, Serrana I, Serrana II, Sul I, and Sul II regions. The population of these areas should remain attentive to the meteorological conditions.
