The Polish Foreign Minister stated that NATO would defeat Russia "very quickly" in case of conflict. The head of Polish diplomacy made this statement during a public intervention.
The Polish minister estimated that NATO has about 2,500 aircraft, noting that this number represents a significant advantage in terms of air power.
The official defended that there is an "overwhelming superiority" of NATO over Russia with regard to the air domain, underlining the disparity between the alliance's military capabilities and Russia's.
The statements come in the context of geopolitical tensions between the Western bloc and Russia, with Poland taking a particularly assertive position on European defense and security matters.
