Dealer Andi Selencia, 27, was arrested in Minnesota, United States, after creating a "loyalty card" system for his drug customers. The cards offered discounts on the purchase of hallucinogenic mushrooms and other narcotics, in a strategy similar to those used by legitimate businesses.
Andi was captured during a police operation last month, in which an officer posed as a customer. During the conversation with the fake buyer, the dealer stated that he "was going to Oregon and Colorado to get more merchandise," as reported by the crime-focused website "The Smoking Gun."
Andi's "business" operated mainly in the vicinity of the Minnesota State University campus in Mankato, a city located about 120 kilometers from Minneapolis. The court documents do not indicate how many customers participated in the loyalty program, nor what the discount or rewards were for users of the cards.
