The 26th edition of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) took place from September 8 to 11 in Xiamen, Fujian Province, bringing together more than 1,200 government agencies and business delegations from 129 countries and regions, as well as 30 international organizations, figures that represented new highs. China's Ministry of Commerce recently included 84 nationally significant foreign investment projects, corresponding to a total investment of 19.46 billion dollars, covering areas such as electromechanical equipment, chemicals and energy, automotive industry, health and medicine. Reports from American, European Union and other countries' chambers of commerce in China indicate that most of the companies covered achieved positive results in the Chinese market.
