The Municipal Pavilion of Valença received this weekend the 12th Eurocity Roller Hockey Tournament, which brought together around 400 athletes from 14 Portuguese and Spanish clubs. The tournament has once again established itself as one of the major events in Valença's sporting calendar, bringing strong participation to the city and promoting fellowship among young athletes from both sides of the border. For the Valença Hockey Club, the initiative also plays an important role in promoting the sport and recruiting new practitioners for their youth teams.
