Vila Verde: Sabariz prepares more than 2,000 liters of broth at a rural festival

More than 2,000 liters of broth will be cooked on Saturday in Sabariz, Vila Verde, at the 14th edition of the Caldo do Pote Festival. The event is part of the Harvest Route of Vila Verde.

The broths are prepared in iron pots, over wood fires, following a rural tradition rooted in the region. The event features at least 27 different varieties of broth.

Dozens of volunteers participate in the preparation and will cook the broths for the event. The festival celebrates the rural gastronomic tradition of the Sabariz area.
