CAM – Madeiran Bus Company will invest 5.22 million euros in electrifying two public transport services in the region. The investment covers the Aerobus service, which connects Funchal and Madeira Airport, and the public transport that the company operates on the island of Porto Santo.
The project provides for the acquisition of eight 100% electric buses and the installation of eight charging stations to support the operation of these vehicles.
The official presentation of the project will take place tomorrow at 4 PM at the company's facilities in Nazaré, Funchal. The ceremony will be attended by the president of the Regional Government of Madeira.
