The Social Innovation Award is assigning 20 thousand euros to projects that are contributing to change in Education in Portugal. This edition brings two new features compared to previous ones.

The first new feature is the alignment of the award with the Charter for the Future of Education, which was created under the initiative Horizons of Education. This document now serves as a reference for the candidate projects.

The award specifically seeks projects that address current challenges in Portuguese education, including lifelong learning, the development of future skills, literacy, education for sustainability and bringing education closer to the world of work.
