The Lavender Route is a tourist itinerary created in 2022 by the Rural Development Institute of Paraná (IDR-Paraná) with the aim of stimulating lavender cultivation and rural tourism in the state. The route currently has 13 participating properties and has become a significant attraction for the region.
Since its creation, the Lavender Route has received more than 200,000 visitors and generated more than 2 million euros in gross income in the first three years of the project, according to data from IDR-Paraná. The route's success demonstrates the potential of rural tourism for the Paraná economy.
Among the highlights of the route is the Lavandário Het Dorp Vilarejo Holandês, located in Carambeí, in the Campos Gerais of Paraná. This location represents one of the tourist points that make up the circuit, offering visitors the experience of lavender cultivation in a region with unique characteristics.
The project highlights how the valorization of differentiated agricultural products can generate positive economic impact in rural communities, strengthening the tourism sector while promoting the diversification of agricultural production in the state.
