Almada wants to be Portuguese Capital of Culture in 2028

The municipal council of Almada approved this Friday its cultural strategy to apply for the city to be Portuguese Capital of Culture in 2028. The municipality is led by Inês de Medeiros.

The winning city of the title will be known on December 9th. Besides Almada, other cities competing for the title are Guarda, Leiria and Setúbal.
