Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned of a Russian escalation that is getting ever closer to Europe. His statements come following an attack on the border between Poland and Ukraine.
Tusk stated that a "period of very intense actions from Russia is expected in the coming months." The Polish leader did not rule out that these attacks could target European territory.
Poland, as a NATO member country and a direct neighbor of Ukraine, has been strengthening its military deployment and coordination with Western allies in response to this growing threat. The situation at the Polish-Ukrainian border remains tense, with Polish authorities on maximum alert.
