Influencer Thaynan Farias, wife of forró singer Rey Vaqueiro, used social media to report that she lived "one of the worst days of her life" after learning that her husband's plane went off the runway and caught fire in the city of Parelhas, in Rio Grande do Norte. She stated that, for a few moments, fear took over me and she could only ask God and Nossa Senhora Aparecida to protect her husband and everyone at the scene.
The artist himself also posted a message on social media stating that he is doing well after the aircraft accident. However, Rey Vaqueiro had to cancel the two shows that were scheduled for this Sunday, one in the city of Custódia and another in Canhotinho, both in Pernambuco.
