The Trump administration, however, rejects this cautious position. Pete Hegseth, a figure close to the administration, argued that "AI doesn't make lethal decisions," minimizing the fears of those who warn about the dangers of uncontrolled artificial intelligence.
President Trump also expressed his position in favor of advancing AI, warning that the United States cannot lose dominance of this technology to China. "Whoever dominates AI wins," Trump stated, emphasizing the strategic importance of maintaining American leadership in this sector.
