The Spaniard Enric Mas, from the Movistar team, won the 2023 Vuelta a España, thus achieving the first Grand Tour of his cycling career. This victory represents the biggest achievement of the young Spanish rider's career.
In the final stage of the competition, it was Norwegian Tobias Halland who stood out, achieving the best performance of the day. The Vuelta a España is one of the three Grand Tours of world cycling, alongside the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia.
Enric Mas, who had already shown potential in previous editions of the Vuelta, finally managed to fulfill his dream of winning a Grand Tour. His consistency throughout the three weeks of racing was decisive for securing the red leader's jersey.
The 2023 edition of the Vuelta featured 21 challenging stages, traversing Spanish territory and culminating with the traditional final stage in Madrid.
