The plane carrying singer Rey Vaqueiro skidded off the runway and caught fire upon landing in Parelhas, Rio Grande do Norte. The accident occurred during the landing operation in the city.
There were no serious injuries in the incident. The artist himself posted a message on social media informing that he is fine after the aircraft accident.
Due to the accident, Rey Vaqueiro had to cancel the two shows that were scheduled for this Sunday, one in Custódia and another in Canhotinho, both cities in Pernambuco.
According to the singer's post on social media, the shows will be rescheduled soon, as the accident made it impossible to fulfill the scheduled engagements.
