Minister André Mendonça of the Supreme Federal Court signed a dispatch on Sunday afternoon (13) adding new elements with information extracted from the cell phone of former banker Daniel Porcaro. In the document, he states that delivering this cell phone, which is stored with the Federal Police, would only contribute to disrupting the trial and would put the entire continuation and success of the ongoing investigations at risk.
Mendonça also made a new statement saying that all information obtained by him in the rapporteurship of the case has already been forwarded to the other ministers of the Court. The minister also cites the names of four Federal Police delegates and requests that these delegates, who were responsible for the investigations involving the so-called Master case, take a position on any intimidation by any minister.
The statement comes two days before the trial in the plenary of the Supreme Federal Court, where the ministers are expected to analyze the PF report commissioned by Mendonça himself. The report contains messages exchanged between the investigated parties, extracted from the cell phones seized during the investigations.
The case involves former banker Daniel Porcaro, whose cell phone was examined and whose contents are now under analysis by the STF. The investigations revolve around the so-called Master case, which investigates alleged irregularities that have mobilized the attention of the Supreme Court in recent weeks.
