Portuguese judoka Jorge Fonseca won silver at the Budapest Grand Slam, in Hungary. The athlete competed in the -100 kg category and made it to the final of the competition.
In the title decider, Fonseca was defeated by Italian Gennaro Pirelli. The Portuguese ended up losing the match after accumulating the third shido, which is the maximum penalty in judo.
