The Mosteiro de Lorvão, in Penacova, hosts between October 3 and 5 the 5th National Show of Conventual Sweets. The event is dedicated to the celebration of Portuguese conventual sweets, a culinary tradition with historical roots in the old convents of the country. This is the fifth edition of this show, which has established itself as an important moment for the preservation and enhancement of this gastronomic art.
The initiative brings together more than two dozen confectioners, professionals and artisans specialized in the production of traditional sweets of conventual inspiration.
