Portuguese singer Tony Carreira starred in an unexpected moment during a concert in Alcoutim, in the Algarve, on Friday, September 11. The episode was part of the programming of the Festa de Alcoutim 2026, when the artist, from the stage, noticed that a woman in the front rows was showing displeasure during the show.
According to the video that circulated on social media and went viral, the spectator was repeatedly making the thumbs-down gesture from the beginning of the concert. Tony Carreira addressed the woman directly, stating that it was the first time something similar had happened to him during the current tour.
The singer expressed surprise at the fact that the woman was so close to the stage, suggesting that perhaps she should leave the seat to someone who enjoyed the show. "If you came here specifically to do this, it means you don't have much of a soul," Tony Carreira also stated, adding, however, that the spectator would still have the opportunity to change her attitude, as "life is a school, it's a learning experience."
