The Livre party presented several proposals for the State Budget, including the creation of a national mobility pass, the reinforcement of family allowance and the strengthening of the public nursing home network. These measures aim to address social and mobility needs of the Portuguese population.
Isabel Mendes Lopes, deputy of the Livre party, again criticized the Government's performance in this budgetary process. The parliamentarian accused the Executive of trying to limit and empty the work of deputies during the discussion and approval of the State Budget.
This is not the first time that Isabel Mendes Lopes has expressed these criticisms, having already raised similar concerns about the way the budgetary process has been proceeding and about the role of deputies in its elaboration.
