A wildfire broke out in the Agualva and Mira-Sintra area, in Lisbon, in a scrubland area near dwellings. The fire was fought by more than 170 operatives, supported by various aerial and ground resources.
The fire caused four injured, who were assisted at the scene. The authorities did not specify the severity of the injuries.
The combat operations mobilized significant resources, including firefighters from various fire stations in the region and support vehicles. The proximity of the fire to dwellings prompted immediate alert from the authorities.
