The Public Security Police of Portugal expects to have greater capacity next year to accommodate immigrants who are in the process of being expelled from the country. Currently, the PSP has only 130 available spaces for this purpose.
Due to the limitation of spaces, the PSP is betting on the voluntary return of immigrants to their countries of origin as an alternative to the expulsion process.
