DJ Pedro Sampaio asked the audience at the Palco Mundo stage at Rock in Rio, on Saturday afternoon (12), to wave the fans during his performance. The request was not necessary, as the fans were already holding the fans, waving them vigorously at the Olympic Park, in Barra da Tijuca, Southwest Zone of the state capital.
The item has become a great symbol at festivals, being used mainly by the LGBTQIA+ community and by women. Student Victor Gabriel, 18 years old, brought a pink fan to the City of Rock and explained that the accessory allows emitting sounds during the shows and lifts the LGBTQIA+ community.
Victor said he was able to feel all the energy of the moment by seeing many people raising and waving the fans during the festival. The fan has been gaining more and more space as an important accessory at events.
