Caixa Geral de Depósitos will hold another edition of the "Out of the Box Meeting" on September 14th at the University of Aveiro, this time dedicated to the theme "Leading the Future: Companies, Talent and Competitiveness". The event aims to reflect on the challenges of competitiveness, innovation and talent attraction in a context of accelerated market transformation.
The meeting features the presence of former President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who will close the conference in a conversation with writer Gonçalo M. Tavares, as part of the XXI Conversations for the 21st Century. The opening will be conducted by Paulo Moita de Macedo, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Caixa.
Among the confirmed speakers are Jorge Portugal, Director General of COTEC, who will address the factors that distinguish the most innovative and resilient companies, and Rui Martins, Director of Strategy at Caixa Gestão de Ativos, who will present an analysis of the main economic trends and financial markets. The program also includes a roundtable on the connection between universities, companies and funding.
The Out of the Box Meetings, created in 2017, constitute the longest-running public debate initiative promoted by a banking institution in Portugal, with approximately 100 editions already held, having covered all districts on the mainland, the autonomous regions and also achieved international dimension.
