Portugal hosted the J/70 Class Sailing World Championship, one of the largest international single-class sailing events. The competition took place at Cascais Marina, one of the country's main nautical destinations.
The event featured the participation of more than 100 vessels and approximately 500 sailors from 26 different countries, which demonstrates the scale and international importance of this sporting competition.
Cascais Marina has once again established itself as a privileged location for hosting major nautical events, benefiting from the favorable natural conditions of the Portuguese coast for sailing.
The organizers indicated that the J/70 Class Sailing World Championship promises to return to Portugal, suggesting that the country will continue to host such events.
